I just heard about a new technology coming out shortly called the Lyto camera which has the technology to let you focus AFTER the picture is taken. CRAZY!! I found a really informative article on it here. The camera basically allows a picture’s focus to be adjusted after it is taken by giving you the options to click on certain areas of the picture to bring the subject in the foreground into focus or switch the focus to the background. You can click here to play around with the picture and get a sneak-peak on how the technology works.
What this means is that the photographer no longer has to worry so much about the focus of the picture but can instead focus on the composition knowing the technology is available to tweak the focus later. How cool is that?! As for how much it’s going to cost…I’m not sure yet. They haven’t released that info. All I know is that I won’t be able to afford it! But one can always dream…..
