Seth + Courtney // Kamloops Maternity Photographer

I’m so excited about this session…not only because that’s my niece in that gorgeous belly but because I friggin LOVE the way these photos turned out.  I find it so inspiring going to a new city and shooting with different backdrops that I’m not used to.  My brother and sister in law live in Kamloops so of course we planned their maternity session around our family visit last September.  A fellow photog had suggested a few locations to us but we couldn’t find them so we literally used someone’s driveway ….complete with a barking dog threatening to chase us out.   Oh and it was the first time I had ever used smoke bombs!  We made my mom come along and light them – the first one was a dud. Soo…we basically had 30 seconds to do the gender reveal photos with the one working smoke bomb.  I really wish we had a little more time but it is what it is!!  What’s a great photo shoot without a little adventure, right?  The weather and light were just perfect and I couldn’t be more happy  for these two.  Precious little Tia has since arrived and she’s amazing. I was just in Kamloops again last week to shoot their newborn photos so that post will follow soon!

Oh also in case you wanted to check it out, I had the pleasure of photographing their engagement in San Fran!  What an amazing trip that was.
