A Photo A Day – Day #85

I have a pretty bad bird phobia so the fact that I even got this picture is nowhere short of a miracle. We were at this restaurant in Sooke this morning and I decided to walk around and take some pictures because the weather is gorgeous. I was down on the beach and noticed these two amazing swans just hanging out. I pulled up my big girl panties and decided to put on my telephoto lens and sneak up to them a little closer. I ended up getting really close before they noticed me and started huffing and puffing – I even have some pictures of their breath in the air they were snorting so much – FREAKY!!! I’m super happy with this picture and I hope you appreciate that I narrowly missed a swan attack for it. You’re welcome.
