I have been a wedding photographer for over 12 years now. I am in love with documenting love. And let’s face it – my job is hanging out with you on one of the happiest days of your life – how cool is that? I really feel like it’s something I’m never going to tire of; every couples’ story and family is completely unique and beautiful.
I specialize in elopement photography and intimate wedding photography. I typically only photograph weddings with up to 50 people in attendance. Of course if we get to chatting and we seem like we would be a great fit I am always flexible with that number. The reason I started to specialize in more intimate wedding photography is because I find that I am more able to connect with not only the wedding couple but your guests as well if there are less people. The more comfortable I can make people feel, the better photographs I can capture for you during the wedding day. My natural talent is making people feel comfortable and I find that I am not able to personally connect with others and do that if the weddings are larger in size. My goal is to give you the absolute best experience from start to finish and photographing more intimate weddings allows me to do just that.
All of my packages include your high resolution edited photos via online gallery. Your final gallery includes approximately 100 photos per hour of me shooting (for example if you hired me for 4 hours you would receive approximately 400 photos). There are no watermarks on your final photos and they are yours to download, print and share. My online galleries also make it very easy to share with friends and family or buy professional quality prints and goods to preserve your memories for generations to come. I typically have your wedding photos delivered to you within 4-6 weeks after your wedding date with a few previews 48 hours after. I know you are stoked to see at least a few pictures from the day and I’m even more excited to edit them!
My wedding photography style is mostly hands off except for when it comes to family photos, wedding party photos and wedding couple photos. I will offer advice for the best light to stand in for the rest but I am mostly hands off besides that! I truly believe in letting your day unfold naturally and being there to capture those special moments that are not scripted. When it comes to the portrait time I have lots of little tricks up my sleeve to get some natural reactions out of you. I’m often asking you questions or giving you prompts to draw out the connection between you and your partner. Nothing beats genuine emotion in my opinion. I’m also here to help you plan out the timeline of your wedding day if you don’t have a wedding coordinator. Since I’ve been photographing weddings for over a decade I am privy to the amount of time we will need for each part of the day and am so happy to help you out!
