Jan & Leigh – Victoria Wedding Photography

Sometimes last minute wedding bookings are the best. I had absolutely no plans for Good Friday until Jan sent me an email less than a month before asking if I was available to document their elopement wedding. I’m so glad she did because these two were so nice and a true pleasure to work with. The happy couple decided to elope from Yellowknife and get married at the quaint and very Victorian Abigail’s Hotel (which by the way is literally a block away from my house – talk about convenient!). I loved everything about this wedding – it was intimate, casual and elegant at the same time. Jan & Leigh wanted the wedding to be about their love for each other and the strength of that was apparent during the day. Even the weather co-operated with us and we were able to get some gorgeous shots around the quaint garden outside the hotel.
