The Bolster’s – Portrait Photography, Victoria, BC

It’s always such a treat photographing friends. I think of it as being in a long term relationship – no awkward silences, no getting to know each other period, no small talk. It’s great because it lets me solely focus on the photography. Oh and double awesome because after the shoot you can head to a pub! I have been friends with the Bolsters for a good seven years now and have been hounding them to take some pictures with me for what seems like forever. C’mon – they haven’t had pictures taken professionally for 10 years – it was time! Finally they succumbed to my pressure and I’m so glad they did because I got some really great photos. Given, I might be biased….
