This photo didn’t turn out quite like I had hoped but sometimes there is a point where you have to choose sanity over perfection. ESPECIALLY when it comes to this crazy photo a day committment.

2012 was amazing. I gained lots of experience, met amazing new clients and even got to travel to Mexico to shoot my first destination wedding! I know it’s almost March but I love a good “best of” blog. These are some of my favorite wedding shots from last year – happy hump day!
When I heard Robyn and Shawn were getting married at Rathtrevor campground in Parksville and were planning on handing out beer to everyone at the their recessional I knew I had to photograph their wedding. Obviously. These two are so unequivocally themselves and their genuine, laid back personalities were apparent in all the little details…
I really have to apologize for my lack of blogging since I don’t know, last year??!!! Business has been super great and I just haven’t had any time. Here is a teaser from Carleigh & Marshal’s gorgeous wedding at Church & State Winery in September. More to come very soon, I promise 🙂
