On a scale of 1 to 10 I would give 2014 an 8. It was pretty good. I shot a lot of weddings and met some great couples. I connected with some amazing families who welcomed me into their home like I was already a part of their family. Connections like that are few and far between and meeting people like this is always a highlight of my year when I think back on all of the weddings I’ve been fortunate enough to work at.
Some highlights of 2014 were photographing my brother’s proposal in San Francisco, photographing a destination wedding in Kelowna, shooting each wedding at a new venue I had never shot at before and of course connecting with all of my amazing couples.
I wanted to share a few (ok more than a few) of my favorite photos from 2014. Here’s to hoping that 2015 is a 10.
Robin has done my hair for years (she is AMAZING – check out her boutique here) so I’ve heard all about how her mini-me can’t get enough fur. I was so excited that she showed up in a fur vest – so freaking cute!! We had a blast during our mini session at Beacon Hill Park back in October. Here are some of my favorites:
