Sue & Anand // Gorge Japanese Garden Wedding // Victoria Wedding Photographer

I was looking forward to this wedding ALL DAMN YEAR!  And gosh darnit was it worth the wait.  I know Anand and Sue through my husband (you can read more about that here as well as see their engagement photos in case you missed it). Unfortunately due to a scheduling conflict my husband couldn’t make their wedding but I was still happy to do double duty as a photographer  for the daytime portion and a bit into the evening and then enjoy the evening as a guest.

Anand & Sue were married at the Japanese Garden at the Gorge which is a super stunning venue. It has lots of greenery and of course the most quaint Japanese gardens and ponds.  When Sue walked down the aisle you could hear collective gasps as she was drop dead gorgeous in a gown that was definitely meant for her. What a beauty, inside and out.  In the speeches later Anand told everyone that it was as if he was seeing her for the first time walking toward him to exchange their vows. I mean….COME ON YOU GUYS!!  Romantic level 11/10.   There were so many special moments & fun times at this wedding but I’m going to let the photos do the talking. Here are a few from their special day in August!

Side note: The food was the best I’ve ever had at a wedding and there was just so much of it!  If you haven’t been to Northern Quarter you should definitely go – it’s a super funky little venue with the most delicious food & drinks.
