Coles Bay Engagement Photos // Adrienne + Matt

I’ve been dying to share these Coles Bay engagement photos with you since I took them!  Adrienne contacted me via Instagram last summer. Her and her partner Matt were newly engaged at the time and were looking for a photographer.  They ended up booking me for some engagement photos shortly after finding out they were pregnant with their second child.  What an exciting time!

We decided on Coles Bay for their engagement photos. I always love photographing couples in new locations I’ve never been to before. I was pleasantly surprised. Coles Bay provides both a gorgeous forested location as well as small beach with an amazing view.  I always ask my couples to get a little adventurous in this case to climb out onto a log for a few shots.  Adrienne and Matt are the type of easygoing people that are down for whatever.  I’m so thankful for that because those shots on the log are some of my favourite from this engagement session!

Their easygoing natural and natural chemistry is so easy to photograph.  I always get a good read on my couples once I spend this time with them and it’s fun to see how different each relationship is. Matt and Adrienne are best friends but their chemistry is also spot on. Matt is always making Adrienne laugh which is such a great quality to have in a relationship.  Laughter is THE most important thing as life goes on!

During our session we talked about everything under the sun from kids to unaffordable housing prices in Victoria to everything in between.  Thank you both for being so much fun to hang out with and so easy to talk to.  I hope to see you both of you at your wedding next year!  At the very least I will you both very soon to welcome your new baby boy into the world – I CAN’T WAIT!
