Urban Couples Session, Victoria, BC // Steven + Kayla

It’s been a while since I’ve got to photograph an urban couples session in Victoria!  Dang I LOOOVE  those city vibes.  Victoria is one of the coolest cities to explore for photo sessions. From the colors in China Town to secret hidden alleys and waterfront views,  there’s a million different backdrops. And every single one lends itself nicely to an urban couples session!  I LOVE MY CITY!

Every year I try to donate as much as I can to local charities, with the SPCA being one of them.  It’s tradition I donate a mini session for one of their silent auctions.  This year the highest bidder on my gift card was Kayla & Steven – woop woop!  It’s always nice knowing right off the bat you have something in common with someone (animals, duh) and you at least have one thing you can bond over. With these two there was no lack of connection – we had a blast at their session. I’m fairly certain we went way past a half an hour because I lost track of time and was having a blast capturing the natural love between the two of them.  We wandered throughout Chinatown and to a secret parking lot which is wayyy better than it sounds. Next up was Market Square and over to Johnson Street to my favorite hidden alley behind Il Terrazzo (yum).

Kayla & Steven – thanks for the laughs and letting me capture your authentic connection!   Thank you for always being up to do whatever crazy thing I ask you to do and a special shout-out to Kayla for running in her heels and NOT BREAKING AN ANKLE.  I can’t wait to hang out with you two and your doggo very very soon!
