Children’s Portraits – Kady
If there’s one thing I know about two year olds it’s that they have the attention span of a squirrel. FYI – a squirrel has an attention span on normal things of about one second and about four minutes on acorns and nuts. Don’t ask. Anyways, I came equipped to the photo shoot with all kinds of bribes since it’s not always easy to photograph toddlers or hold their attention long enough for them to sit still so you can get a decent photo.
Luckily, Kady was super easy-going and before long we were playing games and blowing bubbles without her caring if I was taking pictures or not. I even got a few “cheese” pictures! Beacon Hill Park is the perfect spot to photograph kids because they have tons of room to run around and there is a large section that’s left to grow wild which makes for an au natural backdrop.
Kady was like a little doll. Long blonde hair, porcelain skin and big blue eyes paired with the sweetest personality. Pretty much a dream subject. Here are a few of my favorite shots from the day:
