Laura & Evan // Goward House Wedding Photography

I always get a little nervous when I don’t have a chance to meet a bride and groom until their wedding day.  This was the case with Evan & Laura as they live in Penticton and we were just not able to connect until the day of. The second I walked into Laura’s parents house on the day of the wedding my nervousness melted away. She was so sweet and welcoming. Meeting Evan only a few moment before his beautiful bride walked down the isle went much the same way and I knew it was going to be a good day.  These two got married at the Goward House and afterwards we ventured to Kitty Islet for some West Coast photos along the ocean.  This group was so much fun and I have to say that their photos may be some of my favorite I created last summer because of their sense of adventure which really came across in the photos. Here are a few from their amazing day – congrats you two!

After the ceremony, quite a few people took turns at the home made pinata made by a family member.  It took a lot to break that thing!

How do you follow up a Pinata? Champagne sabering of course…..

After the festivities we headed to Kitty Islet for some photos by the ocean.  Laura you are a seriously STUNNING bride!

Random push up contest anyone?

Last summer, there was a city art project where people decorated pianos and they were scattered all over town. We of course had to find one and a beautiful duet ensued……kinda. 🙂
