Hatley Castle Maternity Photos // Jenn & Mike

I love taking Hatley Castle Maternity photos!!  It’s one of my favourite locations for maternity photography.  Especially when my past wedding client are having babies! AHHHHHH!!  IT MAKES ME SO FRIGGIN EXCITED!!

These two lovebirds got married in 2018. Remember back when you could actually have a massive dance party with your friends and family?  This wedding was such a fun celebration.  There were so many fun people in the wedding party and just so many laughs.  Two years later and Jenn got in touch to let me know they were expecting a little one – woot woot!  Yes these photos were taken about a year ago (oops, my bad for being so behind on blogging). The good news is since then their little man is earthside and he is absolutely precious. I got to meet him when he was just a tiny newborn at a wedding I shot just before COVID hit.

These Hatley Castle maternity photos were so much fun. We wandered around the grounds making use of every single location. I love the variety of the castle, the gardens, the bridge, flowers, etc.  Jenn was the most gorgeous pregnant woman and Mike is so good at making her smile. I just love photographing these times in peoples lives.  The anticipation and excitement of having your first child is something that is so special and can never be re-created.  Everything and I mean EVERYTHING changes once you have a kid together.  Documenting the two of you and your relationship as you know it before things change is something I have always loved.

Thanks to you two for always trusting me with your most special memories. I’ll just be here waiting to hear from you again….hehehe. For now here’s a few of my favourite photos from our time together 🙂
