Intimate Wedding at Union Pacific // Nikki + Jae

When Nikki and Jae approached me about photographing their intimate wedding at Union Pacific Coffee Shop I was 100 in. I’m a sucker for intimate weddings; they are kind of my jam.  From our first conversation I knew this one would be memorable. Nikki and Jae wanted to do things their way all the way through their day which is always appreciate.  They had their kids involved and their closest friends and family in attendance – what more can you ask for? Oh right a GORGEOUS bride with impeccable style and a handsome groom! Check and CHECK.

This was my first time photographing a wedding at Union Pacific Coffee Shop and I was really impressed with their space!  The interior of the coffee shop is the perfect setting for some cocktails and mingling (ps the food was spot on!) and the weddings take place on their funky patio set along Dragon Alley in the back. It’s the perfect spot for an intimate wedding and really hope I get to photograph another wedding at Union Pacific really soon!  Nikki & Jae’s ceremony was very meaningful and sweet….I loved seeing the faces of their kids who were clearly so happy for them to be getting married. After the congratulatory hugs from friends and family we meandered all around the streets of Victoria taking wedding portraits of the newlyweds.  These two have fire chemistry – you can spot it from a mile away.

Nikki & Jae – thank you so so much for having me as your photographer on your special day!  I am floored by your kindness, playful energy and your strong bonds that you have with your kids, friends and family.
