Victoria LGBTQ Engagement // Vince + Tom
Seeing as it’s pride month, I knew I had to do a blog post with these Victoria LGBTQ Engagement Photos! I’m fairly obsessed with this session so you will have to excuse the overshare.
I met Vince at a wedding I shot last year as he was in the wedding party. His speech was seriously hilarious and I remember it so clearly. When he contacted me about being a photographer for him and his partner Vince’s wedding next year I jumped at the chance! They are getting married at the Westin Bear Mountain in March and they are actually my first 2020 wedding I booked. Side note: isn’t’ it crazy to say 2020 (we are living in the future, man).
I met with Tom & Vince at Glenco Cove which is a gem of a beach in Gordon Head. This spot is a little hidden gem. The light was spot on and so is the connection between these two. I had so much fun chatting with them and getting to know them a little better. They let me know about their future trips and Vince’s love of Celine Dion (he’s french Canadian). Since they work together, they had a vision for the save the dates with them in their uniforms. I absolutely love the photos we captured of them all dressed up – it’s very “Canadian” of course in the BEST WAY possible. I know there is still a ways to go but all in all we live in a pretty awesome all-inclusive country. I find is so damn romantic that these two work the same job (and often the same shift) which they both have such a passion for. You know it’s true love when you can work AND live with someone.
Here are a few favorites from this Victoria LGBTQ Engagement session.
