Intimate Wedding at The Villa Eyrie // Leah + Derrick

Well well if it hasn’t been an embarrassingly long time since I’ve blogged!  2020 has been a LOT. But I’m sure I don’t have to tell any of you that!  Instead of focusing on this year and all it’s craziness let’s just skip over that and rewind over a year ago to this gorgeous copule who I’m low key obsessed with! Their intimate wedding at the Villa Eyrie was an absolute dream come true.

 

Leah and I actually met through on of her best friends who introduced us. I had previously met with her about potentially being her wedding photographer right after I had my daughter. I’m sure I was right in that sleepless/crazy phase where I basically had no brain cells because they were all going towards my screaming infant.  Needless to say she didn’t book me but she remembered me enough to refer me to this beauty which I appreciate more than I can say!  When I met Leah and Derrick for the first time she told me her friend thought our personalities would mesh perfectly. And boy did they ever. We spent the whole meeting chatting up a storm about more things than wedding planning and left exchanging numbers.  When I called Leah to follow up on wedding photography and she told me she was going to book me for my services I quite literally did a happy dance. DREAM CLIENTS!

 

Needless to say their intimate wedding at The Villa Eyrie was perfection. Leah was a goddess and Derrick was just so thankful to be marrying her.  Not that’s he’s so shabby himself – ha!  These two have the best energy together and their fun loving personalities are contagious.  Their wedding day was filled with no only laughs and good vibes but just so much love from those closest to them. The backdrop at the Villa Eyrie provided just the perfect scenery and everything was so smooth and seamless!  Wish we could do this day over again.  Here are a few images from their day.
